Welcome to JAAH

alt JAAH is a non-profit voluntary non-governmental organization founded in 2004 as a member of the International Alliance Against Hunger (IAAH), which was declared in 2003. The JAAH relies on a wide national partnership of governmental (MOA) and non-governmental (JOHUD), civil society, and private sector organizations The JAAH is headed by HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal and hosted by one of its co-founders; the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD).

News and Events

One of the last automobile adventures of this World, the old and youngtimer rally from the Allgäu region in southern Germany to the Orient and specifically to Amman in Jordan will start in 30th of April 2010 for the fifth time in Oberstaufen. It will stay also in the year 2010 the Low Budget Rally for the people, who dream of participating in a calculable adventure. The rally is a cheap alternative for Paris-Dakar for strong Teams and good mooded people. _more..

World Food Program The Jordanian Alliance Against Hunger JAAH receives joint support from WFP and FAO in mobilizing resources, advocating and providing public visibility to hunger issues. In Collaboration with WFP and FAO the JAAH hosted a regional forum in Amman in December 2007 to promote national Alliance against Hunger in the Near East. The Jordanian Alliance, the first in the region,will serve as a role model to help launch the process in other countries including Lebanon, the Occupied Palestinian Territory, the Syrian Arab Rep., Egypt and Yemen.
